Life feel like a race. No matter how much we run, the finish line keep moving. We sprint, thinking, “Just a little more and I’ll finally feel satisfied”.
But, the moment we reach one milestone, another appear in the distance. We all running…
For a better job. For a better car. For a bigger house. For a life that always seems just one step ahead of us. And in this race, we often forget one simple thing-
To thank God for what’s already in our hands.
Someone has something we don’t and suddenly it became our new goal. We tell ourselves, “Once I have that, I’ll be happy”. But when we finally get it, the happiness last for a while Until we find something else to chase. And the cycle starts again.
The truth is - No one has Everything. Someone’s rich in money, Someone’s rich in love, Someone’s rich in peace.Yet, instead of valuing our own blessings, we keep counting the ones we don’t have.
I believe in that— Dreams are important. In fact, they should grow bigger with time. If your dreams stayed small, our lives would never expand. Big dreams give us courage to take steps we never thought we could.
But, here’s the danger. If we chase them without balance, like a thirsty person running after a mirage, we might end up losing the water we already have in our hands.
What’s the point of getting everything you ever wanted if, in the process, you lose your peace, your relationships, or your own health? Sometimes we run so hard after “more” that we forget to protect “what is.”
A dream should inspire you, not enslave you. It should pull you forward, not drag you away from yourself.
The race will never end. But you can choose your pace. You can choose to slow down, breathe, and look around. Work for your dreams, yes — but don’t run blindly after them.
Because the joy of life is not only in the finish line… it’s in the people running beside you, the memories you make on the way, and the gratitude you feel for the road you’ve already crossed. 🌸

So beautifully written. Such a great reminder. The tendency to want more to live at a faster pace keeps us shackled to desire. 🌸
A good reminder that ambition and gratitude need to run side by side. Otherwise the race never feels worth it.
Keep up the good work! I'm rooting for you.
