Pages That Listened.
Becoming my own Companion ☘️
How does it feel like when you finally let the storm inside you out ?
A relief. A peace.
A strange kind of calmness, comfort and little lighter.
This is exactly what happens when you express everything through writing. Deep down, we already know our thoughts, our illusions, our feelings. However, when they stay trapped inside, they slowly turn into a storm within us.
That’s why it become important to let out the restlessness and chaos we carry inside.
Just like anger should not be buried in the heart forever ~ it should be released so we can feel lighter.
In a same way, we should not lock ourselves inside a room, inside our own mind. Sometimes we need to step outside, breathe fresh air and allow ourselves to feel alive again.
I started writing a dairy. Yes, I did. However, I don’t write daily yet. Whenever I feel too low or alone, I just pick it up and start blasting like a bomb.
An atom Bomb :( / :)
I feel so alone, and the moment i pick it up and start writing , I feel I’m with someone who is close to my heart. And that’s myself. I share everything~ my confusion, my feeling, my over thoughts and it feel like someone is there for me. Someone who is listening to me. Someone with whom I’m sharing every piece of myself.
Yes, I’m human.
And as humans, we feel so light when we share things. Sometimes, we really need someone who understands without being judgmental, without questioning us, and who loves our silly, stupid things.
And I give that place to my dairy.
And what I understood is ~ I needed that.
Yes, there are always a bunch of thoughts in my mind, and I’m very introverted kind of person who can’t open up easily. UMMM… I never ever tried before, but since I joined this community, I discovered a little bit of myself more. My writing skills. So, I started figuring out a lot things about myself, and finally this one came out of box.
And maybe this unexpected box will help me find myself even better.
I found that this is actually a good way to feel more peaceful and to figure things out more gently. I surely write my questions and confusions. And somehow I end up finding a few answers while figuring things out.
I don’t know why, but yes. It happens.
It’s not like I get proper answers to every questions, but at least I find little piece of mind. And this is not less than solutions.
So, I ended up to understand this ~ if you feel stuck, start standing for yourself. If you feel alone too, start becoming your own companion. This is not magic. This is just a quiet and simple route that leads you to a place where you feel seen, calm and loved by yourself.
Writing in dairy brings you closer to yourself. Who you really are~ Just pour it into pages. Your stupidity, your silliness, your truest, vulnerable and most cherished side.
Author note : I feel like we become even closer to ourselves when we pour everything into a page. After that, we don’t feel alone anymore ~ we feel lighter. We build a friendship with ourselves and get to know who we really are a little better.
Whenever I sit down to write on a new page, and my eyes always go back to the previous one, and I think, FUCK…. so much stupidity.
And then I smile and start again.
